Why is Nancy such an important character in the novel Oliver Twist? Ess

Why is Nancy such an important character in the smart Oliver Twist?Nancy is a character whose reputation is deuce sided, despite the detailthat Nancy is a prostitute. Readers deal Nancy even despite her faultsbecause she has two personalities. There be many reasons why Nancy issuch an important character in the novel. genius of the reasons is thatwhen you let on her, she is described as if she wears a diffuse of make-up,has a lot of hair and that she doesnt keep her self organized (tidy). At that time, this wasnt respectable for a young woman. This givesthe reader the impression that Nancy is a prostitute, who is barely alow life woman trying to make a living. The connection between Oliver and Nancy in the novel truly shows howNancys personality is. E.g. Most people would recognize Nancy for whoshe is, by her looks most likely. But Oliver doesnt see Nancy thisway, he sees her as a friend and a prudish lady. This tells you thatOliver & Nancy are both innocent and because of t his innocence, Nancyneedinesss to help Oliver. As the story starts to develop, you overtake the idea that Nancy hasanother more caring side to her. This side is sh have on page 142 whereNancy says to Bill Sikes, that hell have to go through Nancy in the first placehe can attack Oliver with the dog, Bullseye. This shows that she caresfor Oliver and that she doesnt want Oliver to get distraint in any way. Also an alternative way to tell that Nancy has a better side to her,is when she says to Bill Sikes that he can smash her transport against thewall, but she wont let him touch Oliver. At this record in the novel,Nancy feels a great bond with Oliver, in which she cares for him anddoesnt want him to get hurt.Dickens in this novel builds up sympathy fo... ...is own way, by provoking Sikes to kill Nancy.Just before Nancy is killed she is happy to see him because Dickenswrites It is you, Bill said the girl with the expression of pleasurewhen he returns. This proves that she has two si des to her characterbecause she spoke to Rose Maylie, she does not run out her friends.Nancy unendingly tries to find the best way, and that also meant makingsure she doesnt betray her friends. This makes Nancy probably the most realistic character out of themall, mainly because of her two sided personality and because shedevelops the story and how she cares for Oliver. Because Nancys character is not too knotty and not too good, it makesthe story more realistic and believable. She is one of the characterswho like Oliver and the only one with a true personality and in a waythe only character who expresses her feelings.
